THIS WEEK: Friday, June 7th, First Fridays in the Arts District is back to celebrate the Richmond Arts District with happy hour specials, store and sidewalk sales, vendor markets, opening exhibits, live performances, community celebrations & more throughout the Arts District’s galleries, restaurants, and shops.

2nd Best Comedy Fest
June 6-8 at Coalition Theater & various locations

Richmond’s “World-Famous” Coalition Theater is proud to present its 7th Annual 2ND BEST FEST featuring improv, sketch, and stand-up comedy acts from all over the US, crammed into 3 magical nights at 2 different venues!

Over the course of the weekend, the Fest will host a wide range of comedy groups from LA, Chicago, New York, Baltimore, Raleigh, Washington DC, and the gorgeous city of Richmond, VA for 3 rip-roaring days of improv, sketch and stand up comedy.

Festival headliners include improv comedy from LA’s Asian AF, Chicago’s improvised thriller/drinking game Hitchcocktails, New York’s highly acclaimed Trike, and stand-up from Emmy-award winner Sara Schaefer and NYC’s Matt Barats, along with a powerhouse of improvisers who perform regularly at Second City, iO, the Annoyance and Magnet theaters, along with a rising stable of up and coming independent improv, sketch, and stand-up comedy players from Virginia, Maryland, Washington DC and North Carolina.
